• Care: Unfinished butcher block countertops should be sanded and finished before use. We recommend using using our Williamsburg Butcher Block Mineral Oil and our Williamsburg Conditioning Oil.

While both options offer exceptional quality, it's important to note that WBB Essential Blocks may have slightly more variation in stave widths. For most projects, this won't pose any challenges. If your project requires joining multiple blocks together, you may want to consider our WBB Signature, which are crafted with tighter stave tolerances, ensuring a flawless alignment when joining multiple blocks.  It is natural for time, sun exposure, oiling, and oxidation of the wood to cause the color to patina over time. Length and width of staves can vary between boards and species.
